A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"what i love about this place: the restaurants atmosphere feels very warm! reminds me of the warmth of filipino culture back in my home country, philippines. restaurant is spacious. offers enough seat/table for 2-10 pax. foods are served within 10-15 minutes depending on busyness. the foods with authentic taste: THE BEST PORK BBQ I HAVE TRIED IN BARCELONA! TO DIE FOR! VERY RICH IN FLAVOUR! ADDICTIVE! THE BEST LECHE FLAN!!! it has enough sweetness - not too much. a perfect consistency. can be ordered in different size: ¼ , ½, or an entire piece for 6€. THE BEST LECHON KAWALI!!! perfectly crispy in thick slices! what they can improve: their waiters: approachable and kind. although, i could sense that their energy are too "stiff", serious and more on professional side. i hope they can be more lose as it will help them to be more approachable and have a more welcoming and warm ambiance inside like a family... try to have small talks with the customers to create a "close" vibe like a family. thank you! the pork lumpia - the taste is very commercialised. not even close to authentic lumpia in philippines. the beef karekare is good but bland. served with shrimp paste. i just hope that they can improve the taste of the sauce by adding more salt. therefore, the flavour would stand alone even without the shrimp paste. and a little bit more of peanut butter for better sauce taste. i will order again! the version of their lechon paksiw tastes more tangy than sweet. perhaps, too much laurel leaves. which is different from what ive been used too which is more on sweet side. the bopis is saucy version. needs a bit more seasoning for taste. perfect for people who love it with sauce. the pritong vientre is coated and fried perfectly! i liked it! although, i think, it is better if they could cut it in rings shape rather than thin and straight. it gives better texture and easier to chew. sizzling pusit is bland. pansit miki noodles - store bought noodles which is ok but i did not like the taste. palabok - with meat sauce instead of seafood sauce. i didnt like it but its good for people who loves meat sauce. lovely restaurant! im glad to discover it. i would definitely return!"
"One of the best Philippine restaurants in Barcelona, and we visit here often. Most of the dishes are delicious, and I especially enjoy the squid dish a lot. The draft beer is the best! Great prices and fast service."
"Delicious food, friendly service and comfortable spaces. Bring friends so you can try different dishes. The staff are very nice and accommodating! Drop by a bit early if you want to make sure you have a table. Brunch time is recommended for me."
"First time for us for Filipino style food. Menu was diverse & varied enough that it was easy to choose something to suit us. Main course portions were a good size and tasted very nice: pork cubes in spicy sauce, beef stew was spicy too. Excellent rice. Service & cleanliness were very good. Inexpensive; two mains, two rice, a wine and a bottle of beer was 31.70 EUR. I'd recommend this restaurant."
"This restaurant was highly recommended to us by our friends, who had previously enjoyed a memorable dining experience there. Eager to try it out for ourselves, we decided to visit the restaurant for lunch after completing a day of touring the nearby attractions. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the restaurant’s welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The interior was designed to be wide and spacious, providing plenty of room for guests to relax comfortably without feeling crowded. The high ceilings, tasteful decor, and well-arranged seating arrangements contributed to a pleasant and airy environment, making it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy a good meal. The owner of the restaurant is genuinely warm and friendly, going out of their way to ensure that every customer feels at home. They are incredibly accommodating. As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was prepared with great care and skill, resulting in flavors that were intensely satisfying and creatively presented. Every item we tried was bursting with freshness and rich taste. The ingredients used were of high quality, and dedication to excellence. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was truly enjoyable, leaving us eager to return and recommend it to others who are looking for a welcoming place with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere."
"This place is a hidden gem! The menu is refreshingly original, offering dishes I haven't seen at any other Asian spot in Barcelona. However, the service needs polish. If they can match the front-of-house efficiency to the back-of-house talent, this place would be unbeatable - one of the two people were really good. Highly recommend for the food alone!"
"⭐ Overall Experience: 4.1 / 5 I visited this Filipino restaurant a couple of days ago; I was craving for some Pinoy flavours lately and I’m genuinely glad I tried it. The ambience and the food were absolutely wonderful — truly worth coming back for. There is room for improvement in the customer service, but I’ll break everything down below. ⭐ Ambience — 5 / 5 I really loved the ambience. When I arrived, there were only a few people inside, so the place felt calm and spacious. They have outdoor seating, which is common in Spain, but I appreciate that the inside is also roomy and well kept. The lighting is warm and pleasant, and they even have a bar area for wine and alcoholic drinks. The overall atmosphere feels clean, cozy, and welcoming — exactly the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. ⭐ Food — 5 / 5 The food was phenomenal. Everything tastes so homey — like the kind of flavors you only experience when something is cooked with love for family and friends. • Lumpia: Absolutely my favorite. I’d even say it tastes better than Jollibee’s lumpia. The flavor, the crispness, the clean and sleek appearance — perfect. • Silog Meals: I tried one of their silog meals, which came with garlic fried rice, a bit of veggies, and an egg. It was so good it made me want to come back and try the others. • Bihon: The umami was just right — flavorful, simple, not too salty, not bland. A very well-balanced bihon. • Desserts: The ube flan was really, really, really good — authentic, rich, and satisfying. Their gulaman was also lovely: smooth, refreshing, and well-prepared. Overall, the food gave me a truly pleasant and comforting experience. If someone is craving Filipino comfort food in Barcelona, this place definitely delivers. ⭐ Customer Service — 2.5 / 5 This part is where my experience dipped a little. There were two Filipino guys working during my visit. The one wearing glasses was friendly, attentive, and very helpful — no issues at all. However, the taller guy left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. When I entered, the door guard (the metal shutter shops pull down when they close) was semi-open, but not low enough that you needed to duck under it — and I’m short, so I simply didn’t notice it. He asked me, “Did you not see it?” in a tone that didn’t sound like a joke. It felt unnecessary, because clearly I hadn’t seen it. It set a slightly off tone right from the start. Then, when he gave me the menu, he placed it on the corner of the table without saying anything and walked away while I was on my phone — almost like I was bothering him. Combined with the earlier comment, it made me feel unwelcomed. It also made me think about visitors who aren’t from Barcelona — like Filipinos traveling from Madrid, Alicante, or other places. Not everyone knows the shop’s daily routines, and it's not fair to assume they do. To be clear: he wasn’t extremely rude — but he was definitely leaning toward rude. And in a restaurant with such great food and ambience, this kind of behavior does stand out. Customer service is part of the experience, and this part could really use improvement. I don’t know if he’s the manager, the owner, or a staff member, but based on the vibe he gave, he might not be suited for a customer-facing role. The other guy was wonderful though, so if people want the full good experience, they may want to interact with him instead. ⭐ Final Thoughts The ambience and food are truly exceptional — comforting, delicious, and worth returning for. I do think the customer service, specifically from one staff member, needs improvement because it affects the overall experience. Still, I’d recommend trying the restaurant for the food alone. They’re not the only Filipino restaurant in Barcelona, so I hope they take feedback like this to heart. I hope next time, their service matches the quality of their food."
"Excellent ambiance, well-presented dishes, and great food. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making this one of the coziest Filipino restaurants in town."
